Everyone at BPSC is delighted that we are now back and swimming again! Since Sunday 2 August squads have resumed our holiday training sessions at QE Boys pool – which has never looked cleaner!
Swimmers and coaches have been so pleased to get going again. Apart from a few new COVID 19 measures – including hand sanitising, limited number of swimmers in lanes and extra efficient quick changing – the sessions have been just like normal.
Head Coach Tom said after the first session, “It was great to see all the swimmers’ smiling faces and such a breath of fresh air to see them training again.”
When asked how she felt about returning to the club, a Junior squad member said, “Excited because I could see everybody again and I could go into the water, which I have missed over the last 4 months.”
A member of the Development squad commented, “It’s amazing to be back in the refreshing pool rather than being stuck at home.”
We hope that more and more swimmers will follow suit over the summer, rebuilding our BPSC community, and look forward to getting back to as normal as possible in September.
If you have any questions regarding your return to the pool, please email Tom at firstname.lastname@example.org (replacing old email address).
Hope to see you all back very soon!
